reso 2011

So it’s actually a pretty good idea to keep in view the resolutions I had, whether or not I was actually successful in keeping to them or fulfilling them. Anyhow, the list for 2011 probably doesn’t differ much from 2010 but hopefully I can get more of them fulfilled this year :)

1. Class 3A driving licence (rolled over from eons ago) – i’ve a feeling i’m always have to keep rolling this forward if i’m not removing it from the list…

2. Pass JLPT N4 and consider JLPTN3 if time permits (need to squeeze out another day in the week for N2 Prep classes which I’m not so sure I can actually do it) – yay passed N4 (don;t think N3 is going to happen this year unless a miracle appears in these couple of months Aug and Sep)!

3. Continue exercising regularly (at least 3 times per week) and lose weight! – More or less I managed to exercise regularly (at least when I’m around in SG where there are facilities around), but I think I should amend it to remove the “lose weight” bit because somehow that is not happening and I suspect never going to happen unless I change my eating habits totally.

4. Think of what I want to do and if I still can’t fathom that I will still find a new job that affords me what I want out of this job - and so yeah I got a new job. It probably still isn’t what I want to do for a job but reality kicked in and will be here to stay for a while.

5. Be positive, happy and content – I know this is going to be one major challenge, and major is still not making the point – I think I’m making some good progress in this area!

6. Travel to more places that I have yet to visit – Mexico City in July, San Francisco in October, New York City and The Netherlands in November!

7. Go on a solo trip – accomplished Feb 2011 to Tokyo, then Apr 2011 to Hong Kong, and finally Seoul in October 2011!

8. Read more books, and to start off, finish reading all the books lying around – erh… this still isn’t happening.

9. Moderate the intake of alcohol – kind of there. Hehe.

10. Limit for this year - 3 bags – slightly past mid-year and I’m 2/3. I think I should be able to stick to this. *Fingers crossed*
